Download Zune Software
Here's how you can download Zune Software free from Microsoft...
First of all, it is compatible with only Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (once Windows 7 becomes available). If you are still running Windows 95/98/2000, time for an upgrade!
You will need to download a different version depending on whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. Click here if you aren't sure what you have.
Download the 32-bit Zune Software.
Download the 64-bit Zune Software.
Note that if you have an older computer, premium graphics may be disabled. However, the software is still fully functional. You'll just miss out on the great animations that make the Zune Software cooler than any other media player. I have two computers and the experience is a little better on my newer computer.

After you install it, you'll have to create your Zune account. This is a snap if you already have a Microsoft E-mail address like Hotmail or Windows Live. Just sign in!

[If you don't have an account, you'll have to spend a couple of minutes creating one.]
And don't forget to sign up for your free 14 day Zune pass trial. Trust me. Once you experience music this way, you'll never look back!
