How do I transfer songs to a new computer?

I just bought a new computer and want to transfer my entire Zune music library to my new computer from the existing one. How can I do this?

Answer:

The best way to transfer a lot of music files between computers is using an external hard drive. It's also handy to keep backups of your music just in case your computer's hard drive crashes.

Note that if you have a Zune pass, you can re-download all your music again on a new computer. You can use up to 3 PCs with your Zune pass.

Other ways of copying files would be to burn them to CD or DVD or ripping your music again, but these methods are time consuming and tedious and not recommended.

Lastly, a home network will enable you to copy files between computers easily.
