Zune AC Adapter v2 and Zune HD?

Hi, I've been wondering if the older Zune AC Adapter v2 will work safely with the Zune HD? Thanks!

Answer:

You bet! In fact I've been safely using my v1 Zune AC adapter with my Zune HD without any problems. You should be fine using your Zune AC adapter v2 with your Zune HD.

If there is any difference at all between using the v2 adapter and the new Zune HD charge pack (the new charger designed for the Zune HD) it would be in the speed of charging. With each generation of charger they try to make the charging cycle faster and more efficient.

In general, any accessories you have that were designed for older Zunes should work just fine with your Zune HD.

Yes, other USB chargers can work just as well.

Just make sure any charger you use is rated at 5V and 1A. Anything higher can damage your Zune HD. And anything lower won't deliver enough power to charge it.

I think that any USB charger will work. My brother has an LG Env 3 USB charger and it works without any problem for me.
