Incipio Leather Wallet Zune Case
The Incipio leather wallet Zune case provides style and protection at an affordable price.
There's something about leather that exudes luxury and style.
Remember the chairs in "the boardroom" from Donald Trump's show The Apprentice?
Why, they're leather, of course.
You can bet "the Donald's" wallet is leather too. (In fact I own a leather wallet from Donald Trump's signature collection, and it's nice!).
And by slipping your Zune into the Incipio leather wallet you won't become Donald Trump, but you'll sure feel like him.
When my Zune is in this case, it suddenly looks and feels ten times more expensive.
But looks are only part of the picture. You didn't buy a Zune case for style only. So what about protection?
The Incipio leather wallet has you (or actually your Zune) covered! Not only from scratches and dings, but also from falls.
The front view of the Incipio leather wallet. I love the fact that the clasp holds firmly with a magnet instead of a button.
The wallet has hard edges and a padded feel that should protect your Zune well from accidental drops.
I really like the leather clasp that holds the wallet together when it's closed. The clasp has a concealed magnet that keeps it firmly in place. This looks so much better than if it had a button.

The Zune is well protected even when you open the wallet. A clear plastic screen protector protects the screen. And while the controls are exposed, the edges are still surrounded by leather.
Inside the Incipio leather wallet. See-through plastic protects the screen while keeping it visible. The buttons and Zune pad are exposed but the edges are protected by leather.
The top of the Zune case is completely exposed so you have access to the hold switch.
A view of the Incipio leather wallet from the top. You can see there is easy access to the hold switch.
The bottom of the case has a leather strip separating the headphone jack from the charger. The strip appears to cover the headphone jack slightly. In spite of this I had no trouble connecting my headphones with the Zune in the case. The charging slot is also well exposed and I was able to connect my sync cable easily.
A look at the Incipio leather wallet from the bottom. Notice the leather strip separating the headphone jack from the charging slot. It slightly obstructs the headphone jack but I had no trouble connnecting either headphones or a sync cable while my Zune was in the case.
The description mentions a credit card or ID holder. I couldn't find it. The case seems a little small to be able to fit one anyways. Perhaps this is added only for the slightly larger case designed for the 80/120 GB Zune.
The wallet is very compact and is a perfect fit for my Zune. It adds serious protection without a lot of bulk.
And you really can't go wrong with the price. It looks a lot more expensive than it really is!
The Incipio leather wallet is also available in brown, white, pink and "theDuke" - made of natural, raw leather.
But if you are going for a leather wallet, any color other than black doesn't do it justice. In my humble opinion, of course. Something is just terribly wrong about pink leather!
I just can't think of any major drawbacks. Overall, the Incipio leather wallet is a great Zune case. Highly recommended.
