Here are the Zune HD specs for the 16GB and 32GB models. It's major
competition
is the iPod Touch so I'm comparing it side-by-side so it's easy to
see
the difference.

1The Zune HD specs (as well as those
of the iPod Touch) convert the capacity into number of songs and hours
of video. However, there's no point in comparing these numbers since
they can be
fudged by
manipulating formats and bit-rate. For practical purposes both the Zune
HD and iPod Touch can be considered identical in terms of capacity. The
iPod Touch is also offered with 64GB which will double the capacity.
2Additional Zune HD colors are
available from Zune.net only.
3Battery life is measured with Wi-Fi
turned off. Overall, the Zune HD has a better battery life and a faster
battery charge time.
4Charge time can be shortened to 2
hours by using an optional AC adapter.
5The Zune HD specs state that only
AAC files without FairPlay DRM is supported.
This means that if you purchased any songs from iTunes, you must first
use DRM removal
software
to remove the DRM protection before the Zune HD can play them.
6Standard Definition TV recordings
from Windows Media Center according to the Zune HD specifications.
HDTV and protected recordings are not supported.
7HD output requires an optional Zune
HD A/V Dock which is not included.
8The Zune Marketplace music store is
much better than iTunes because of the Zune pass offering.
